Nick Gotsis, Clinical Psychologist
Nick Gotsis is a Clinical Psychologist who brings together the science of psychology and over 20 years of international corporate experience to support individuals, teams, and organisations. Known for his genuine, compassionate, and solution-focused approach, he is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can develop self-awareness, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward a more fulfilling life.
Nick's path to clinical psychology isn't conventional. Before retraining in the field, he spent over 20 years in senior leadership and C-suite roles across Australia and internationally, partnering with executive teams, boards, and global organisations including Cotality, ING Bank, IKEA, and various government bodies. He led human resources teams, drove organisational change, and worked alongside executives navigating high-stakes, high-pressure environments. That background gives him a unique depth of insight into workplace dynamics, psychosocial hazards, and the particular pressures that come with leadership, insight he brings directly into his clinical work with clients facing burnout, occupational trauma, career transitions, and the identity shifts that often accompany them. He is also a certified Executive and Leadership Coach and Workplace Trainer.
Clinically, Nick provides evidence-based assessment and treatment for adults and adolescents (16+) navigating a wide range of challenges, some of which include depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, burnout, addiction, and relationship difficulties. He also supports clients through grief and loss, sexual health and intimacy concerns, parenthood, psycho-oncology, and gay, bi, and queer-related experiences and identity. His approach is integrative and individualised, drawing on CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing always tailored to the individual.
Nick is also the founder of Men's Life Psychology, a clinic built from a deeply personal and professional commitment to changing how men experience mental health care. Having witnessed first-hand the real consequences of stigma and silence, he built the clinic around a simple belief: that every man deserves access to support that genuinely engages, motivates, and connects with him, in a space where he feels truly understood and supported toward meaningful change.
